Drain clogs

One of my main objectives in life is to help people. As a matter of fact my beautiful wife and I have a family mission statement “We want to provide help, hope and encouragement to the people we serve”

With that in mind, I would like to offer a solution that I know will benefit almost every person that reads this. Get a Zip-It. Don’t get me wrong, I do want to come over and clean your drains for you. But, if you can handle some small tasks by your self with very little effort and you can save yourself some money, you probably should handle this one yourself. Most of the time a drain clog is mostly hair and is just inches away.

Go to Home Depot or Ferguson’s and get this product. You can insert it into a drain (many times without removing anything) and pull it back a few times. It is designed to snag things that are stuck in the drain. In sinks, just slip it in around the stopper. In showers, you may need to take out a few screws or pop off the drain screen with a screwdriver. Be patient, it can be cankerous at first. If it gets stuck just twist and pull in different directions and voila!! You have a big ole hair ball out of your drain. However, if the Zip-It comes out clean you should put it down and pick up the phone and call me. I am usually available for emergencies at a moments notice.
